Throughout the process of applying to an apartment, renters will have to share personal documentation about themselves, their employment and their finances. We at  ApartmentsTogetherNYC know how sensitive this information can be, which is why we encrypt all of your personal documentation with a password using Adobe Acrobat Pro, and encourage you to encrypt any sensitive documentation before sending over to us.

We conduct all of our email correspondence on Google's Gmail network. In Google Infrastructure, messages are encrypted at rest and while in transit between data centers. Messages transiting to third-party providers are also encrypted with Transport Layer Security when possible or whenever required by configuration. Again, for those looking for extra security, we encourage encrypting your documents with a password before sending.
